Tampere Information

Tampere is located in southern Finland, around 200 km from Helsinki, and it is easy to reach from many locations. The city and surrounding areas have beautiful nature landscapes with their best in the summertime. During August, the average day temperature is between 15-20 degree Celsius.

For more information, you can check the official website of The City of Tampere and the Wikipedia page for Tampere.

Below you can see a dynamic slowly revolving view of Tampere (it refreshes automatically approximatively every 15 seconds) from the Näsinneula tower situated in the Särkänniemi amusement park. The Näsinneula tower is the tallest observation tower in the Nordic countries with a height of 168 metres, and it also has a slowly revolving restaurant (a rotation in around 45 minutes) in the tower at 124 metres above the ground.

Details will be added later on.
